Retatrutide 60mg
Sixty milligrams of retatrutide, the top fill in the range, as lyophilized powder
Retatrutide (LY3437943) is a 39-residue peptide, lipidated on one lysine, that adds glucagon receptor agonism to agonism at the GIP and GLP-1 receptors. This page lists the 60 mg vial, the largest fill PrymaLab sells, as freeze-dried powder with a dedicated lot and certificate. Much of the commentary on retatrutide compares it with tirzepatide, a dual GIP and GLP-1 agonist built on the same GIP-derived backbone.

Other fills
This is the 60 mg fill. The Retatrutide 10mg page is the main listing for this compound, with the full research summary and every fill side by side. Other fills: 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, 30 mg, 40 mg, 50 mg.
What the research covers
Willard and colleagues characterised tirzepatide as an imbalanced dual agonist that engages the GIP receptor more than the GLP-1 receptor and, at the GLP-1 receptor, favours cAMP generation over β-arrestin recruitment1. Retatrutide adds glucagon receptor activity to that pair. A 2024 review dated the start of its phase 3 programme, covering diabetes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and obesity, to 28 August 20232. No randomised trial has compared the two molecules, and the signalling bias work has no published counterpart for retatrutide in these sources. The retatrutide 10 mg listing has the complete research section.
The Retatrutide vs Tirzepatide guide covers the literature in more depth.
How each lot is tested
Every lot is tested in PrymaLab’s own laboratory in Ashland, Kentucky before release: RP-HPLC for purity, LC-MS for identity, Karl Fischer titration for water, LAL for endotoxin and USP <71> for sterility. The results for the lot now shipping are in the certificate panel on this page, and the certificate number, key and QR code can be checked on the verify page. These are in-house results from PrymaLab Analytical, not an independent test, and the lab is not accredited to ISO 17025. The third-party testing guarantee on this page still applies: if any independent laboratory finds the wrong compound, or less than the stated purity or amount, the order is refunded and the cost of the test is reimbursed.
Frequently asked questions
What molar quantity does a 60 mg vial hold?
Close to 12.7 µmol at 4731.4 Da, the theoretical mass on the certificate. It is an upper bound, since freeze-dried powder includes some residual water and the certificate reports how much.
Is retatrutide the same compound as tirzepatide?
No. Both are lipidated 39-residue peptides derived from the GIP sequence, but tirzepatide acts at two receptors, GIP and GLP-1, while retatrutide also activates the glucagon receptor. Their sequences differ, and retatrutide remains investigational.
