HEP-1 (Human Ezrin Peptide) 5mg
Human Ezrin Peptide One, the 14-residue ezrin fragment TEKKRRETVEREKE, 5 mg freeze-dried
HEP-1 is Human Ezrin Peptide One: a 14-amino-acid copy of a stretch of the alpha domain of human ezrin, a membrane-cytoskeleton linker protein. This is the 5 mg vial of freeze-dried powder, a smaller fill than the 10 mg main listing, made and tested as its own lot. The research summary, references and full FAQ are on the HEP-1 (Human Ezrin Peptide) 10mg page.

Other fills
This is the 5 mg fill. The HEP-1 (Human Ezrin Peptide) 10mg page is the main listing for this compound, with the full research summary and every fill side by side. Other fills: 10 mg.
What the structure is
The sequence is Thr-Glu-Lys-Lys-Arg-Arg-Glu-Thr-Val-Glu-Arg-Glu-Lys-Glu (TEKKRRETVEREKE), linear, all L-amino acids, free at both ends, with no disulfides or other modifications. Formula C74H132N26O27, theoretical mass 1818.0 Da (PubChem CID 25078222, CAS 174641-44-2). Five glutamates and six basic residues make it one of the more water-soluble peptides in the catalogue. In the current UniProt numbering of human ezrin (P15311) the segment sits at residues 325-338; the developers’ papers call it 324-337.
What the research covers
The literature on HEP-1 is summarised, with references, on the HEP-1 (Human Ezrin Peptide) 10mg page: Origin and proposed mechanism; Anti-inflammatory activity in mouse colitis; Fibroblast signalling in vitro. Almost all pharmacology comes from the peptide’s developers (Holms, Ataullakhanov and colleagues) and from Russian-language journals; no independent replication in Western journals was found. None of the published work used PrymaLab material.
Related listings: Thymosin Alpha-1 5mg, Thymalin 10mg, Thymogen Peptide 20mg, KPV (5mg). The healing and recovery peptides category lists the rest of the range.
How each lot is tested
Every lot is tested in PrymaLab’s own laboratory in Ashland, Kentucky before release: RP-HPLC for purity, LC-MS for identity, Karl Fischer titration for water, LAL for endotoxin and USP <71> for sterility. Published certificates are listed on the results page and can be checked by number and key on the verify page. These are in-house results from PrymaLab Analytical, not an independent test, and the lab is not accredited to ISO 17025. The third-party testing guarantee on this page still applies: if any independent laboratory finds the wrong compound, or less than the stated purity or amount, the order is refunded and the cost of the test is reimbursed.
Frequently asked questions
Is the 5 mg vial the same compound as the 10 mg?
Yes. Both hold HEP-1, 1818.0 Da. Only the amount differs; each fill is made and tested as its own lot with its own certificate.
How should HEP-1 be stored and dissolved?
Lyophilized: −20 °C, sealed and desiccated, protected from light. It is very hydrophilic (five glutamates, six basic residues) and dissolves readily in water or buffer; keep solutions at 2 to 8 °C and use within a few days, or aliquot and freeze once. It contains no Met, Cys or Trp, so it is comparatively resistant to oxidation. Supplier-standard guidance.
