Hexarelin 2mg is the smallest fill anywhere in this catalogue, about 2.25 micromoles. That matters for a reason nobody advertises: two percent of two milligrams is forty micrograms, which is below what most laboratory balances can read. There is no check available on this vial. Laboratory research use only.

Hexarelin 2mg

About 2.25 micromoles · The smallest fill here, and the one you cannot check

A hexarelin 2mg vial holds about 2.25 micromoles and is the smallest fill offered anywhere in this catalogue. The consequence is one nobody mentions: a two percent fill error on two milligrams is forty micrograms, and the four-figure balance most laboratories own reads to a hundred. Nothing about this vial can be verified by weighing it.

Why Can a Hexarelin 2mg Fill Not Be Checked?

Because the error you would be looking for is smaller than what the instrument can see.

A certificate describes a lot, sampled before filling, and the filling step has a tolerance of its own that nobody reports. The tirzepatide 50mg page in this catalogue sets that argument out in full.

On a fifty milligram fill, two percent is a milligram, and a milligram is comfortably weighable on any analytical balance.

On two milligrams, two percent is forty micrograms. A four-figure balance reads to a hundred micrograms and has a repeatability worse than its readability, so forty micrograms is not a number it can produce.

A five-figure balance reads to ten micrograms and would manage it, on a still bench, with an unhurried operator and a draught shield that works.

Most laboratories do not have one, and the ones that do are not usually weighing research peptides on it.

So What Is Left?

Ultraviolet absorbance, which happens to work on a hexarelin 2mg preparation.

Hexarelin carries a tryptophan, modified at the 2-position with a methyl group, and that residue still absorbs at 280 nanometres.

So you can dissolve the whole vial in a known volume, dilute, read the absorbance, and compare against what two milligrams should give.

That is a measurement of peptide actually in solution, which is not the same as the mass on the label, and the difference covers net peptide content, incomplete dissolution and adsorption losses all at once.

The GHRP-6 5mg page in this catalogue sets out how to run that check properly, including reading at 320 nanometres to catch turbidity, and the same procedure applies here.

It costs one vial dissolved in a cuvette, which on a two milligram purchase is the whole thing, so this is a check you run instead of an experiment rather than before one.

One caveat on the ultraviolet route here. The tryptophan in hexarelin carries a methyl group at the 2 position, which is the modification that separates this compound from GHRP-6.

That substitution sits on the indole ring, and ring substituents shift absorption spectra. Whether it shifts enough to matter for a 280 nanometre reading, I do not know, and I have not found a published extinction coefficient for hexarelin specifically.

The honest position is that the check is approximate on this compound in a way it is not on GHRP-6, and that an approximate check still beats no check.

Does That Make the Small Fill a Bad Purchase?

A hexarelin 2mg vial is not a bad purchase, and I want to be careful not to overstate this.

The proportional error is the same at every fill. A two percent fill tolerance is two percent whether the vial holds two milligrams or two hundred.

What changes is detectability. Detection is not the same thing as exposure.

A laboratory that would never have weighed the vial anyway loses nothing by buying a fill it cannot weigh. Most laboratories are in that position.

The argument bites in one specific case: work where absolute concentration matters and gets published. There the inability to verify is a real gap, and the honest response is to say so in the methods rather than to imply a precision the purchase does not support.

For everything else, this is a piece of information rather than a warning.

There is one more thing in its favour that has nothing to do with verification.

Two milligrams is cheap enough to be a genuinely low-stakes first purchase, and low-stakes first purchases are how most laboratories decide whether a compound is worth pursuing.

A supplier offering only a 5mg fill forces a larger commitment on that first decision. This catalogue does not. That counts in its favour, and it belongs on the page that gains from it rather than on a page about something else.

The verification argument above and this one pull in opposite directions, and both are true. Buy small to decide cheaply. Accept that you cannot audit it.

What Does 2 Milligrams Support?

About 2.25 micromoles, which for in vitro work is still a large quantity.

Reconstituted into 2.25 millilitres, that comes to exactly 1 millimolar, which is a convenient enough number to be worth choosing the volume for. Published in vitro concentrations for this receptor family sit several orders of magnitude below that.

So for plate work, two milligrams is not limiting and the 5mg fill is not necessary.

For animal work it is limiting almost immediately, and the 5mg fill is the smaller of two inadequate options.

This is the pattern across the whole catalogue, and the last page that raises it may as well state it once more: fill size is an in vitro question with an obvious answer and an in vivo question with a difficult one.

What Should the Certificate Show?

A hexarelin 2mg certificate needs more than usual, because it is carrying more weight than usual.

The six residue sequence, with the modified tryptophan and the D-configuration positions identified.

Observed mass against calculated, and monoisotopic if the instrument allows.

Purity by chromatography, with the method written on the document.

Net peptide content and salt form, both of which the ultraviolet check will otherwise have to absorb.

Fill weight statistics if the supplier has them, which is the row the tirzepatide 50mg page argues for and which matters more here because no other verification is available.

Lot number and manufacturing date.

Why Does This Page Exist at All?

Because twenty searches a month is not a business case and the argument is worth writing down anyway.

This is the last unwritten product in the catalogue, and it happens to be the one where the verification question inverts.

Every other fill page here argues about consumption, price, stability or handling. This one argues that the smallest purchase available is the one you have to take entirely on trust, and that the trust is usually fine.

Saying that plainly is more useful than another six hundred words about growth hormone secretagogues, which the 5mg page already covers along with the CD36 binding and the phase II history.

A catalogue where every page repeats the compound description is a catalogue where no page is worth reading.

What Is Different About the 5mg Fill?

The verification arithmetic, and nothing else.

Two percent of five milligrams is a hundred micrograms, which is exactly at the readability of a four-figure balance rather than below it. That is not a comfortable margin and it is a real one.

So the 5mg fill sits right at the boundary this page is about, and the 2mg fill sits under it.

Everything else about the two is identical: same lot chemistry, same certificate rows, same tryptophan photosensitivity, same handling.

The 5mg page in this catalogue covers what the compound is, including the reported CD36 binding and why development stopped at phase II. This page does not repeat any of it.

What Would I Actually Buy?

Two of them.

Two 2mg vials cost less than one 5mg vial in most catalogues, give you two independent objects with the same lot number, and let you dissolve one for the ultraviolet check while keeping the other sealed.

That solves the verification problem entirely.

It also solves the problem this page opened with, which is that a two milligram fill cannot be audited: buy two, audit one, and the audit applies to the lot rather than to the vial you destroyed.

The lot is what the certificate describes anyway.

So checking one vial from a lot tells you what the certificate should have told you, which is more than checking nothing tells you and less than checking every vial would.

Nobody checks every vial.

The realistic choice is between one check and none, and on a compound this cheap the check costs about the same as an hour of the time you would spend wondering whether the result was real.

How Should the Vial Be Handled?

Handle a hexarelin 2mg vial carefully, because there is not much of it and no way to find out if you lose some.

Sealed at minus 20 degrees Celsius, kept dark and kept dry. The tryptophan is photosensitive.

Room temperature before opening, sealed, so a cold vial does not collect water.

Reconstitute the whole vial rather than trying to weigh out part of a two milligram cake. Weighing a fraction of this fill is where the error comes from.

Diluent down the wall, gentle rotation, then aliquot into single-use volumes.

Low-binding consumables from the first dilution. On two milligrams, material left on a pipette tip is a larger fraction of the purchase than it would be anywhere else in this catalogue.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a hexarelin 2mg vial?

A lyophilised research vial holding 2 milligrams of hexarelin, also called examorelin, which is about 2.25 micromoles at roughly 887 g/mol. It is the smallest fill offered on any article in this catalogue. Laboratory research use only.

Why can this fill not be verified by weighing?

Two percent of two milligrams is forty micrograms. A four-figure analytical balance reads to a hundred micrograms and its repeatability is worse than its readability, so forty micrograms is not a figure it can produce.

What balance would manage it?

A five-figure balance reading to ten micrograms, on a still bench with a working draught shield. Most laboratories do not have one, and the ones that do rarely use it for research peptides.

Is there any check available?

Ultraviolet absorbance at 280 nanometres. Hexarelin carries a tryptophan, so a dissolved sample can be read and compared against what the label mass predicts. The GHRP-6 5mg page here sets out how to run that check.

Does the check cost the whole vial?

Effectively yes, on a two milligram purchase. It is something you do instead of an experiment rather than before one, which is why buying two vials is the only way to both check and use.

Is the small fill therefore a bad purchase?

No. The proportional error is identical at every fill size. What changes is your ability to detect it, and most laboratories would never have weighed the vial anyway. It matters where absolute concentration gets published.

How many micromoles are in the vial?

About 2.25 at roughly 887 g/mol. Reconstituted into 2.25 millilitres that gives exactly 1 millimolar, which is far above any published in vitro working concentration.

Should I buy 2mg or 5mg?

For plate work, 2mg is not limiting and the larger fill is unnecessary. For animal work, 2mg is limiting almost immediately and 5mg is the smaller of two inadequate options.

What should a hexarelin 2mg certificate of analysis show?

The six residue sequence with the modified tryptophan and D positions identified, observed mass against calculated, chromatographic purity with the method, net peptide content, salt form, fill weight statistics if available, and lot details.

Should I weigh out part of the vial?

No. Reconstitute the whole thing in a known volume and work volumetrically. Weighing a fraction of a two milligram cake introduces more error than anything else in the workflow.

How should the vial be stored?

Sealed at minus 20 degrees Celsius, dark and dry, because the tryptophan is photosensitive. Reconstituted solution at 2 to 8 degrees, kept dark, in single-use aliquots.

Is this product for human use?

No. This is research material for a laboratory. It is not a drug, food, cosmetic or dietary product, the FDA has not assessed it, and administering it to a person or an animal is not a use it is sold for.

Compliance Statement
