Sterility testing (TAMC + TYMC)

Description

Standalone test of Sterility testing (TAMC + TYMC) by Total aerobic microbial count and total yeast and mould count, run in our lab in Ashland, Kentucky. You get a signed report with a unique test number and verification key, a QR code that opens the report online, and the chromatogram.

Not for orals, which do not need to be sterile.

What is reported

• Method: Total aerobic microbial count and total yeast and mould count
• Turnaround: 14 days on average from the day the sample arrives.

What to send

2 unopened vials (recommended), 2 x 1 ml ampoules, or 1 x 10 ml vial of oil. Unopened only: an opened sample picks up microbes in transit. Write your test number on the vial, bag or blister, pack it so it cannot break, and ship it to the address in your order email. One sample per test; order a quantity of 2 or more for several samples of the same product.

Confidentiality and publishing

Reports are private by default and tied to your test number and key. Tick “publish this result” if you want it listed on our public results page, with the brand or source you declared; you can ask us to take it down any time.

A report describes the sample we received, as declared by the person who sent it. It is not a certificate of analysis for a production batch and does not establish who made the sample. For laboratory research use only.
